Accepting Clients for Online Counselling

Annie views life as a journey marked by challenges that not only test resilience but also spur personal growth. Her initial career in human resources and business administration has shaped her understanding of the vital connection between personal and professional well-being, guiding her towards psychology, culminating in her belief that mental health forms the crux of overall well-being.

With bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, coupled with experiences in both Canada and China, Annie brings a nuanced understanding to therapy. Her experience includes structured treatments and group therapy, addressing issues like relationship challenges, self-esteem, life transitions, and stress management. She employs evidence-based approaches like Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, integrating faith-based methods when appropriate.

Annie champions the philosophy of self-empowerment in therapy, encouraging clients on their journey of self-discovery and well-being.

As a member of Canadian Psychology Counselling Association (CCPA) and Canadian Psychology Association (CPA), and with a Master degree focus on Human Resources Management from HongKong University.
